THE CAD CAM PROCESS - AN OVERVIEW
STAGE 1
Begins with your 2D drawings, your CAD file or any other relevant sourced materials.
STAGE 2
Your sourced material is scanned or imported into our 3D production software in preparation for modelling and the construction of initial prototype designs.
STAGE 3 - 3D modelling
This process allows your ideas to be fine tuned into a complete production piece prior to casting. At this stage a rendered image or rapid prototype can be supplied for you to check the design before casting.
STAGE 4 - Wax machining
A wax master is created from one of the Roland milling machines. This can be used to make a single one-off piece or for further casting into a metal master for a complete run of item.
STAGES 5 & 6
The creation of a metal master and moulds - if required. The final piece can then be cast and finished.
