Kim Styles
Kim Styles is a Devon based jeweller who specialises in hand made, one off pieces.
Her designs are inspired by sketches taken whilst exploring the North Devon countryside.
Kim will capture the unusual line, form and beauty of an object such as fencing, entwined wire, curving leaf or tiny bud.
Back in her workshop, Kim will set about developing her sketches into quirky jewellery designs, where whimsical ideas evolve into magical pieces.
Kim works mainly with solid silver and gold, using traditional techniques, such as saw piercing.
The shape of a leaf or petal is hand crafted by cutting each piece separately and then soldering one layer over another.
Various textures are applied, where the character of her finished designs are then brought to life.
If you are looking for something a little different, Kim will be delighted to make you something unique, to your requirements.
Be it a brooch, necklace, a wedding ring or something special that only you will own to celebrate the birth of a new child.
